Roles and Responsibilities
· Candidate must possesses Steel Structures and/or related experience.
· Liaise and coordinate with consultants, client, main contractor, other contractor and authority
· Manage site supervisor and workers to perform according to planning
· To review the shop drawings before submitting to consultants for final approval.
· To coordinate with design consultants for structural submissions to relevant Authorities.
· To review structural submission drawings and design reports prepared by consultants in terms of feasibility for construction.
· To assist the Project Manager in the daily activities of work
· Positive Working Environment
· To supervise and manage all related matters with regard to the day to day civil activities on the project with the objective of meeting the schedule quality and safety objectives .
· To ensure all works are carried out in line with SCDF health and safety standards in order to provide high quality works in safe and efficient manner.
· Drafting using Tekla , Auto Cad Software
Requirements
· Good communication skills
· Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with contract specifications and design plans
· Project Planning , coordination and supervision of technical aspects of construction projects
· Conduct joint inspection with RE and RTO
· To assist the Project Manager in the daily execution of work.
· Attend Meeting if necessary
· Provide weekly update to the Project /Site Manager
· Able to plan/coordinate site works and resolve drawing details and discrepancies
· Tendering & Proposal
· Arrange Heavy Equiptment /transportation if necessary
· Ad-hoc assignment as required by the management
Qualifications and Experience
· Minimum with 3 years of experience at construction sites· Diploma or Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering / Building
· Min 2 years structural coordinator experience
· Good knowledge of Structural specifications & requirements
· Pre-planed prepare construction schedule ,coordinate activities
· Candidate must possess at least , Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Degree , Master’s Degree in any field
· Liaise with both internal and external parties for efficiency
· Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Project Manager
· Prefer knowledge in Tekla , Auto CAD
· NOT for BIM Modeller & Electrical Application
