Roles and responsibilities:
a. Quality Control- Monitor product compliance through in-line data collection and statistical analysis; ensure raw materials received and finished products to be released are comply with agreed specification.
b. Collect CCP Record from concerned Production personnel to review, verified and endorsed and filed.
c. Liaise with production if found any non-compliance product. Report to QA Executive for further action.
d. Together with QA Exec, review and update FSMS manual and procedure according to the FSSC / ISO Standard, Regulatory requirement and Customer-specific documents from time to time.
e. Quality Assurance- Work with QA and Production in reviewing existing process, and assess opportunities for improvement; conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis and provide CAPA, when necessary.
f. To conduct personnel hygiene and production hygiene check.
g. To perform incoming raw material / packaging material check, warehouse, chemical, ice and maintenance workshop checking.
h. Working with Production to record and document Return Goods with the reason of return
i. Monitor pest control program and attending pest control service. Report any pest sighting and carry out necessary control with pest controller.
j. Check on the delivery truck on its cleanliness, truck and product temperature.
k. Ensure the waste management program is practice to avoid cross contamination and pest infestation.
l. Assist QA Exec to prepare samples for shelf-life testing including sensory and laboratory testing.
m. Assist during Internal, External, Customer and Authority audit.
n. To assist QA Exec when and as needed.
Education and Work Requirements:
a. Minimum Diploma/ Advanced Diploma in Science, preferably Food Science / Technology, Chemistry, Engineering or any equivalent or relevant field.
b. Knowledge on basic food safety requirements.
c. Have a good grasp of meat/ingredients properties and interaction.
d. Sharp attention to details.
e. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
f. Great team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
