Role & Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and pain points.
2. Identify manual processes that can be automated and build scalable, reliable systems that automate repetitive tasks.
3. Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient web applications, on both front-end and back-end.
4. Ensure seamless integration with existing tools and platforms.
5. Implement user interfaces with a focus on usability, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
6. Configure and maintain office cloud systems, physical servers, and company software applications.
7. Ensure day to day smooth running of Company’s IT systems (hardware & software, Network, Server, Infrastructure).
8. Implementing effective cyber security of the network, data and its storage and communication systems
9. Maintain prompt communication with parent Company headquartered in Shanghai,China and timely reports to business stakeholders on project/troubleshooting case status.
10. Effective interaction with diverse business units is pivotal for this role, necessitating an understanding of various business segments and how IT impacts their operations.

Skills and experience required
Successful applicant should have the following
1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in full-stack web development.
2. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Typescript and PHP
3. Proficiency in front end development with experience with modern web framework (e.g., React, or Node.js) and CSS framework (eg. bootstrap)
4. Proficiency in backend JavaScript (Node.js)/TypeScript or other backend frameworks.
5. Knowledge of database design and development, as well as optimizing database performance
6. Knowledge of physical server configuration and strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (eg. Google Cloud, Aliyun).
7. Proficient in scripts development and automation (CI/CD tools/Shell/ Python/PowerShell)
8. Possess a valid Industry-accepted IT Security Professional Certifications (such as CISSP, CISA or equivalent) and possess a comprehensive knowledge of International Standards and Best Practices for IT such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NSA Security Guidelines
9. Good cyber security concepts and associated duties such as patching of security vulnerabilities and incorporating security into design.
10. Candidates who are bilingual (English & Chinese) has an added advantage as communication with parent Company requires Chinese language ability. Parent Company is based in Shanghai, China.
