The Manager, Sustainability, needs to work closely with all internal and external stakeholders in the following:-
- Educate and inform stakeholder on the importance of sustainability and how they will impact the environment, financial and workplace.
- Measuring sustainability performance of each property by keeping track of energy, water and waste amount on monthly basis to ensure targets are met
- Propose and develop initiatives
Key Activities:
Development of Sustainability Roadmap:
- Develop sustainability roadmap which covers environmental, social, governance and financial aspects for the Group
- Set short and long-term targets and KPI for various business units and stakeholders
- Promote sustainability culture within the organisation
- Propose green initiatives for implementation
Stakeholders Engagement:
- Engage various internal and external stakeholders on their sustainability related concerns and issues
- Study and analyse how the materiality issues business and operations and the impacts of business operations to the environment and community.
- Ensure stakeholders’ concerns and issues are addressed and resolved.
Sustainability Reporting:
- Compile all data submitted by various properties and submit to management regularly to update on the monthly performance
- Monitor, review and improve sustainability performance
- Prepare annual sustainability report
- Conduct annual audits for building performance on all properties which include properties in Singapore, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, and China.
Sustainability Initiatives Implementation:
- Assist project/property management teams in green building certifications such as Green Mark and NABERS certification.
- Work with Sustainability Task Force to implement sustainability initiatives
- Communicating and marketing sustainability campaigns to internal and external stakeholders
