Store Manager - Retail & Apparel

This pivotal role involves overseeing the entire operational framework, from supply chain management to store operations, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in retail operations, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the local market dynamics.


Key Responsibilities:


Store Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of retail stores(10,000 Sq F + stores), ensuring smooth functioning in areas such as inventory management, staffing, customer service, and sales performance.


Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the retail operations team, including store managers and other staff members. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, set clear expectations, and provide guidance and support as needed.


Performance Monitoring: Establish systems and processes for monitoring and evaluating the performance of retail locations. Analyze sales data, operational metrics, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Inventory Management: Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize shrinkage, and ensure timely replenishment of products. Work closely with vendors and suppliers to maintain strong relationships and negotiate favorable terms.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety regulations, labor laws, and company policies. Implement measures to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.

Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop annual budgets for retail operations and manage expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness. Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency without compromising on quality or service standards.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, merchandising, and finance to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to support the overall success of the organization.


Qualifications and Skills:


Retail management, or a related field.
Proven experience in retail operations management, with a minimum of 4 years in leadership role.
Strong understanding of retail industry trends, best practices, and technologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration across departments.
Strong commitment to customer service excellence and brand integrity.
