The Job:
Leadership & Management
· Establish strategic business plan promptly:
① Finding new business opportunity such as specialty products,
② Maximizing TPC premium and grade premium,
③ preparing for circular-business
· Lead a new Steering committee, comprising of GMs and key appointment holders, to develop a pragmatic feasible implementation business development plan to expand market share and drive revenue growth.
· Main liaison person with Japan Headquarter in communication and alignment of the Company’s direction with the overall group strategy.
· Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
Rationalise Operations:
· Implement practices to optimize production, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
· Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, environmental guidelines, and company’s policies & procedures.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field
· Minimum of 20 years of experience in the chemical industry, with at least 10 years in a senior management role
· Fluent in Japanese and English is essential in the communication with target market needs and headquarters
· Ability to think strategically, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
