Manager, Data Analysis - 1 Year Contract

Working Location: Near to Paya Lebar MRT
Working Hours: Mon - Thurs (9.00AM - 6.30PM), Fri (9.00AM - 6.00PM)

- Develop and drive data strategy, including LOIs, data competency, and maintaining strong links with CIO Office
- Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive data governance and management framework that complies with WOG requirements Implement Lines of Inquiries
- Support data management and exploitation
- Develop MLOps and instil best practices
What you will be working on
The Manager, Data Analysis in the Data Strategy & Analytics Division plays a pivotal role in enhancing our organization's data capabilities to support advanced analytics projects. This position is dedicated to ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and strategic use of our data assets, aligning with our mission to leverage data for insightful decision-making and operational excellence. Data Cleaning and Pre-processing:
- Carry out data cleaning, pre-processing, and feature engineering to prepare datasets for advanced analytics, demonstrating a commitment to our value of excellence and innovation.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python is essential for effective data manipulation and preparation.
Data Lake Management:
- Manage the creation of workflows and the maintenance of tables in Data Lake, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
- Experience in managing large datasets and familiarity with data lake architectures are required.
Stakeholder Training and Support:
- Assist in the training of internal stakeholders in using tools within Data Lake, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Work closely with data analysts across various divisions to support their data needs, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Support divisions in the creation of Tableau reports or dashboards, and analytics datasets tailored to business and analytic needs.
- Prior experience in data analysis, dashboard creation, and proficiency in Tableau are critical
What we are looking for
- Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in data management, data governance, or a similar role within a data-centric organization.
- Familiarity with government data standards and policies is highly desirable.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of data governance and data management frameworks and processes.
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating our core value of unity and collective effort.
