You will be assigned to projects such as the following:
- Develop and maintain test programs of Micron SSD products in high volume manufacturing to ensure Micron SSD products meet their specifications. Engage in code review with fellow engineers and able to suggest how to optimize code for portability.
- Design new test programs for validation and testing of new SSD product/technology during start-up phase. Review fellow engineers accept criteria and validation data.
- Optimize test programs and test methodology to reduce product test times.
- Automate test engineering processes by writing software scripts to improve efficiency.
- Enhance test coverage to ensure best-in-class outgoing quality.
- Work closely with Product and Equipment engineering teams to improve overall product yields and equipment efficiency in order to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with test capacity and manufacturing teams to meet production output goals. Innovate ways to meet fast production ramp and be able to provide technical advice.
- Develop and monitor process and engineering metrics to ensure stability, efficiency and effectiveness of test processes. Comprehend the metrics and translate to reaction plans or development new best known methods for fellow team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor/ Masters in relevant Engineering discipline
- Proficient in Python programming with at least 2 years experience in relevant test program development field
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and manufacturing software support systems (MAM, SAP, etc.).
- General understanding of the back end operations for component assembly, component test operations. Manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Has agility to manage and execute prioritized action items from both tactical and strategic point of views.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
