Key Responsibilities:
1. Sample preparation and analysis:
a. Assist in preparation, set-up, and completion of chemical analyses.
b. Conduct preliminary testing and assist Chemists in analysing samples.
2. Equipment Maintenance and Calibration:
a. Aid in regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
b. Assist in troubleshooting lab equipment issues, ensuring the consistent functionality of
essential tools.
3. Recording and interpretation of test results:
a. Accurately record test results and maintain detailed documentation.
b. Assist in the interpretation of findings and contribute to the generation of insights.
4. Safety Procedures and Protocols Adherence:
a. Strictly adhere to safety procedures and protocols within the laboratory.
b. Handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to established safety guidelines.
5. Quality Control and Assurance:
a. Support the implementation of quality control and assurance procedures.
b. Contribute to maintaining high-quality standards in laboratory processes and outputs.
6. Continuous Learning and Development:
a. Stay abreast of the latest development, technologies, and advancements in the field.
b. Participate in workshops, seminars, and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
7. Reports Preparation:
a. Assist in the preparation of detailed and comprehensive reports of findings.

Job Qualifications:
1. Education: Science/Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
2. Experience: Prior experience in a laboratory setting is advantageous.
3. Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and basic computer skills.
