A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE ROLE:


We have a need for an experienced and talented Copywriter to join our dedicated OLIVER onsite team

The successful candidate will be working as part of a growing, on-site team that is challenged to define and evolve the retail customer journey across integrated (ATL and BTL) marketing channels

The Copywriter will be primarily responsible for researching, planning and writing engaging content across a variety of integrated channels.

This role shall require the candidate to have confident writing background, with some experience of content strategy.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:


The successful candidate shall be responsible for:

  • Conduct in-depth research into related products and categories to be able to come up with content audit reports, recommended content strategy and define industry benchmarking guidelines
  • Planning, and writing highly relevant and engaging content
  • Required to work on through-the-line campaigns and social media content
  • Ensure content is consistent with a retail voice, style and tone.
  • Review existing content (proofreading and editing).
  • Analysis of existing global content and categorising to align with applied regional customer journey map
  • Conceptualize ideas and develop copy for fast-paced consumer and retail brands across various touch points, including but not limited to ATL, BTL and Digital / Social Media Platforms.
  • Able to understand your audience and write in multiple tones of voice and styles for brand and tactical messaging.
  • Understand strategy and be an active participant in ensuring the integrity of the project strategy is maintained throughout the creative process
  • Ability to demonstrate effective time management - handle and prioritize multiple projects regardless of the inevitable changing scope, timelines, goals, deliverables, etc.
  • Work alongside teammates and make sure the solutions meet or surpass clients' expectations and business objectives
  • Follow the studio's design and quality check processes, deliver high-quality works
  • Work closely with the Account Director, Studio Manager, Art Director, Designers & Art workers in completing and delivering the briefs. Most importantly, not be afraid of liaising/corresponding directly with the Clients and stakeholders (Marketing Team/Merchandising Team)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE GREAT IN THIS ROLE:

  • Strong 3+yrs writing experience, mandatory with solid verbal/presentation skills.
  • Experience working on retail brands and focusing on short-form/tactical content.
  • Experience in writing long-form content, i.e., with releases, will be a plus point.
  • Excellent knowledge of grammar, proofreading and editing
  • Ability to ideate, conventionalise and write online and social advertising campaigns.
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create content around that understanding
  • Time management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales
  • Ability to brainstorm ideas and see them through to detailed execution
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to be self–directed.
