Job Description:
As a Product Development and Regulatory Specialist at Aastar, you will play a critical role in the creation and launch of innovative products. You will be responsible for product development, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a deep understanding of food science or nutrition, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development:
- Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new products formulations.
- Conduct research on natural ingredients, trends, and emerging technologies in the health & wellness industry.
- Oversee the product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialization.
- Ensure product quality, efficacy, and safety through rigorous testing and quality control processes.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated with local and international regulatory requirements for health & wellness.
- Prepare and submit regulatory documentation for product approvals and registrations.
- Ensure all products meet regulatory standards and guidelines for labelling, advertising, and packaging.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and maintain a strong understanding of regulatory changes and their impact on product development.
Customer Service:
- Provide expert guidance and support to customers regarding product information, usage, and benefits.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Gather and analyse customer feedback to inform product improvements and development.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create educational content and resources for customers.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product development, regulatory affairs, or a related role in the health supplement, food, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and launching new products.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and documentation for health & food supplements.
