Job Description
- Lead efforts to identify, target, and onboard new merchants to the platform, focusing on high-potential opportunities.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve acquisition targets and drive business growth.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target merchant organisations.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities and potential opportunities for expansion.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Support, to ensure a seamless merchant onboarding experience.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to meet and exceed goals.
- Mentor and train junior sales team members, sharing best practices and industry insights.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in merchant acquisition or related roles within the payments industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
