About Our Client
Our client is a reputable and established organization specializing in fiber optic cables for the Telecommunications industry. They are currently expanding and are looking for a Business Process Improvement Manager to drive organizational efficiency by implementing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, overseeing project teams, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Job Description
- Lead and integrate Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
- Guide project teams in designing and implementing solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Develop metrics and conduct post-implementation reviews to assess performance improvements.
- Create and monitor detailed action plans for process improvements.
- Design and maintain tools and dashboards to track progress on improvement projects.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses and present business cases for project approval.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across facilities to ensure consistency.
- Develop and prioritize long-term productivity improvement roadmaps for departments.
- Compare departmental performance to industry standards and identify improvement opportunities.
- Encourage innovative thinking and question existing processes to optimize performance.
- Promote a mindset of continuous improvement and provide necessary training and resources.
- Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Director to ensure project continuity.
- Demonstrate flexibility to meet project deadlines and travel to support improvement initiatives.
- Adapt to changing business needs and take on additional tasks to support organizational goals.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or any related field.
- 5 - 10 years of experience in a similar position with business process improvement roles.
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools and techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, ISO, or CMMI.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification would be highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Experience working with C-suite and board of directors.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and workshops.
