We're excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced retail manager to join our dynamic team! Our vision is to become one of the leading jewellery brands in Singapore, and we’re looking for someone with exceptional leadership, strategic, and operational skills to help us achieve this goal. This position reports directly to the CEO/ Founder.
As a retail manager, your primary objective will be to drive the realisation of our business strategies by developing new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, and establishing top-notch operations and service excellence standards for all our retail stores in Singapore. Your strong leadership skills, strategic mindset, and ability to collaborate with both internal and cross-functional teams will be key to our overall success.
Scope of Work:
- Oversee daily store operations to ensure consistent adherence to customer service standards
- Review, develop, and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure store compliance with company standards and regulations
- Create and manage retail wage and operational budgets to ensure efficient use of company resources and profitability
- Collaborate with the finance and management team to set monthly store targets and propose incentives or commission structures for each store and team member to drive profitability and productivity
- Work with HR and Area Managers to recruit, train, and manage retail staff, including conducting performance appraisals and providing professional development opportunities; foster a high-performance culture and ensure talent growth and succession planning
- Conduct regular meetings with Area Managers to communicate expectations, review performance, and provide guidance on achieving sales targets and operational goals
- Maintain the store's budget, control expenses, and plan cost-effective operations without compromising quality
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and events that drive footfall and increase customer engagement
- Monitor sales performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) for each store
- Analyse sales data, identify trends and develop strategies to drive sales growth and achieve sales target
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, such as marketing, customer service, merchandising and warehouse to achieve smooth operations objectives

- Ensure the store's layout is optimised for a positive customer experience and efficient workflow
- Address customer complaints and issues promptly to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Stay abreast of new industry technologies, retail trends, and best practices to continuously improve store operations, and provide feedback and insights to management regularly
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Retail Management or a relevant field
- At least 10 years of retail experience with 3 years in a multi-store or area management role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with cross functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to analyse sales data, identify trends and develop strategies to drive performance
- Flexibility to travel between store locations
- Strong/Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office and Excel required
- Experience in the fashion and jewellery retail a plus
