Global Learning Designer (One Year Contract with option to renew)

We are looking for a Global Learning Designer who will be involved in working with clients on the projects involving courseware design, storyboarding for building of simulations and administering surveys and assessment tools.
Responsibilities
The role will assist in building virtual learning content for the company’s learning and e-commerce platform. It will also :-
- Support the requirements gathering, design, testing and implementationof digitised courseware working in elements of instructional design
- Work with Clients to understand and gather user’s business requirements.
- Design and develop virtual learning packages/ simulations, creating storyboards which will be delivered via a web based virtual learning platform on the internet, based on the requirements utilizing various delivery modes to enhance audience engagement and learning outcomes.
- Using digital mediums like web, video and animation to produce engaging and memorable learning experiences to support Client and company projects
- Work with the Subject Matter Experts/ Consultants to implement electronic or virtual learning modules taking into account User Experience Design elements for the product.
- Ensure the required quality standards in courseware is delivered to customers.
- Work with the Learning Technology Specialist on how to enable the content/surveys/customised simulations on our Learning Management System.
- Work with Clients on the set up and implementation of the learning modules, surveys or assessments
- Deliver the reports from the assessments and surveys required to the Client
- To be involved in designing of marketing collateral when assigned.
The candidate should possess
- A diploma with relevant education and certifications in Design, Web, User Experience, Digital Animation, Instructional Design or a similar discipline will be an advantage
- The ability to think about digital learning strategies and execute them on the ground
- Good knowledge and skill in computer and internet technology in a Windows environment.
- Able to perform text, audio, animation and video editing work.
- Preferably has some experience using Moodle/Articulate Rise 360
- Preferably has some basic knowledge and concepts of User Experience Design.
- Has Initiative, resourcefulness, as well as good organizational and interpersonal skills.
