Key Roles:
As a Senior Accountant for SNKRDUNK's Global Expansion team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform as we take our brand to new heights across multiple countries and regions. This offers a unique opportunity to work alongside industry professionals, supporting our business on backend in Media platform operations within a fast-growing global e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the accounting team from all aspects of accounting, finance, operation.
- Maintain Singapore accounting and operation policies and processes.
- Review monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports and summarize the key risky areas and report to Singapore controller
- Support internal and external audits
- Track records and work with local tax team to file tax Document new procedures based on changes in regulatory laws
- Create and maintain internal controls and financial policies to maximize and establish process efficiencies
- Conducting financial analysis, monitoring platform transaction metrics, and presenting data in a clear format to top management.
- Conducting bank reconciliations and reconciling all financial accounts, including daily trade reconciliations on the exchange platform.
- Managing payments and overseeing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
- Collaborating with other departments to comprehend their business activities.
- Contributing to various financial tasks such as generating invoices, preparing supporting documents for group audits, and collaborating with external accountants.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in English & Japanese (written & basic speaking).
- Minimally 5 years of SG finance or accounting experience.
- Working experience with XERO
- Strong knowledge on BS/PL for the accounting procedures along with IFRS
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in both Microsoft Words and Microsoft Excel, and online communications like Slack
- Team player & Highly Motivated
- Assist with ad-hoc duties as assigned by management
