Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision and consultation to elevate rehabilitation service standards.
- Support the establishment of evidence-based practices through guidelines, protocols, and equipment.
- Deliver direct clinical services to a diverse patient population.
- Coordinate rehabilitation teams to optimize manpower and uphold high standards.
- Follow up on improvements identified through audits.
- Participate in equipment procurement, allocation, and maintenance.
- Organize staffing and manage caseload coverage effectively.
- Lead staff meetings focused on enhancing rehabilitation service standards.
- Mentor junior staff through performance appraisals.
- Conduct incident investigations and report findings.
- Implement measures to improve efficiency and workplace safety.
- Monitor and support individual staff training plans.
- Organize drills and audits to ensure staff competency.
- Coordinate departmental in-service training, projects, and individual training plans to advance rehabilitation services.
- Foster staff specialization and skill development.
- Assist in succession planning at various levels.
- Contribute to leading research activities and projects.
Requirements:
- Hold a recognized Master's degree in Speech Therapy.
- Fully registered with the Allied Health Professions Council.
- Possess over 5 years of experience as a Speech Therapist in a community setting.
- Preferably have experience in project management.
- Able to collaborate effectively within teams and work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Demonstrated management, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
