The Jobs-Skills Analyst studies, monitors and spotlights business, operations, technology deployments, value-chains and the resulting impact on jobs and skills to make available timely, relevant, and fit-for-purpose to end-user groups to support their decision-making.

Working Hours: Mon - Thurs: 9.00AM - 6.30PM, Fri: 9.00AM - 6.00PM
What you will be working on
- Engage end-users’ (individuals, enterprises, education-training providers and policymakers) to understand their needs:Seek to understand end-users’ needs through engagement with internal divisions, and external stakeholders
Collaborate closely with internal divisions and external stakeholders to co-develop and prioritise deliverables to serve end-users’ needs
Collect feedback from end-users and partners on our solutions/insights
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses and research
- Synthesize outputs from analyses and research to distil and develop fit-for-purpose:Interpret and sense-make jobs and skills information from a variety of primary and secondary sources
- Pull together the jobs and skills information into a coherent narrative
- Validate with innovation-led firms and experts to refine JSI:Identify innovation-led firms and experts to consult
- Engage the firms and experts to elicit information
- Interpret information from firms and experts
- Disseminate via specific channels and formats
- Collate feedback from end-user groups for analysis
- Translate other data sources into new and/or updated jobs and skills statements
- Periodically update the Repository with updated statements
What we are looking for
- Tertiary qualifications
- Up to 3 years of relevant working experience in a combination of the following areas:
- Data analysis
- Stakeholder engagement
- Project management
- Public speaking
- Report writing
- Customer and stakeholder-centric and communicates well with various stakeholders from multiple levels and across different platforms.
- Thrives in diversity and can navigate in ambiguity as well as readily adapt to dynamic changes
- Able to think critically and sense-make to challenge the status quo
- Good time management skills, and is able to multi-task
- Good interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Applicants without the required qualification but possess the relevant work experience are welcome to apply.
Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for an extension or be placed on a permanent tenure.
