Job Responsibilities
- Conduct daily monitoring and coordinate with 3PL warehouses to address any inbound and outbound operational issues.
- Initiate outbound order processing with 3PLs based on demand and logistics planning
- Facilitate smooth collaboration between 3PLs and our transport team for movement of goods.
- Investigate and report any incidents of damaged goods.
- Monitor and update stock levels of various product categories, ensuring they align with target levels.
- Develop detailed forecasts of demand and capacity for goods.
- Analyze and inform logistics planners on product types to be brought back to a site based on stock outbound or rotation needs, optimizing storage space and product mix
- Produce weekly forecasts on site utilization rates to predict when a site will reach full capacity.
- Based on incoming stock arrival schedules and rotation strategies, derive week-by-week resource forecasts for trucking, unstuffing, warehouse space, pallet requirements, etc.
Requirement:
- Comfortable with 6 month contract
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
- Strong understanding of 3PL operations and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in spreadsheet software (Excel preferred) for data analysis and forecasting.
