Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Engineer to join our Engineering team and contribute to the optimisation and innovation of our production processes.
Job Descriptions:
· Develop and implement improvements in process control systems and equipment.
· Design, develop, simulate, and operate mechanical/electrical systems and products.
· Innovate production processes, recommending technological aids, design changes, and layout modifications for quality and efficiency.
· Lead and report on process optimisation, cost reduction, and production performance.
· Review and analyse process deviations to ensure compliance with quality and GMP standards.
· Coordinate equipment purchases and validate new equipment to meet specifications and quality standards.
· Develop manufacturing work instructions and standard operating procedures.
· Respond to maintenance and mechanical emergencies, troubleshooting and reporting issues.
· Implement technical solutions for processing issues and maintain facility and equipment maintenance programs.
· Train maintenance technicians on processes and procedures.
· Provide training to production teams on proper equipment use.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and timely preventive maintenance.
· Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
· Minimum 1 to 2 years of process engineering experience in the manufacturing industry.
· Knowledge of equipment qualification, process validation, process improvement, statistical process control, and troubleshooting.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to build rapport with staff at all levels.
· Prior experience in leading a team is an advantage.
