Execute work orders in accordance with process control routers and industry standards as well as appropriate work procedures and instructions
Setup and program lathes. Verifies settings by measuring positions, first run parts and sample work pieces, adhering to international standards
Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations
Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturers’ instruction, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repair
Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Produce parts to high standard of quality and in accordance with the relevant procedures/work instructions.
Use only calibrated measuring instruments and tools for the job.
Daily / Weekly check the machines before the start operations and update the checklist.
Should follow the machine safety requirements as per the risk assessment and safe work instructions.
Should act in a safe manner always while working, with any moving parts and during machining process.
Maintain the material’s traceability and inspection records for each item.
Discuss, submit, and recommend new ideas in improving the safety and quality of products and services
