ASTEK is offering a role of Mid to senior level Frontend Developer for our projects based in Singapore.
The successful candidate will lead a team of frontend developers, focusing on high-quality web applications using modern frameworks and tools, shaping architecture, ensuring best practices, and guiding the technical direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor frontend developers, providing guidance, code reviews, and technical support.
- Set and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development workflows.
- Design and develop responsive, high-performance web applications using React and Angular.
- Implement bundling and build processes with Webpack and Vite.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
- Develop and maintain unit tests, promoting test-driven development (TDD).
- Create and maintain modular, reusable CSS styles and design systems.
- Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product managers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and stand-ups.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
- Identify and implement improvements in the development process.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a strong portfolio of web applications.
- Frameworks: Extensive experience with React and Angular.
- Build Tools: Proficiency in Webpack and Vite.
- Testing: Strong understanding of unit testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Styling: Solid knowledge of CSS, including preprocessors like SASS and LESS, and CSS-in-JS solutions.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git.
