Responsibilities:
- Manage and support planning and procurement of medical, non-medical equipment, and other faclity equipment in Hospital when necessary.
- Prepare work plans, setup meeting sessions, and setting goals and targets.
- Responsible for budgetary planning and control, ensuring that the development keeps within budget.
- Work closely with user department and various stakeholders in the preparation of technical compliance/specifications of medical, non-medical equipment and furniture for in tender submissions.
- Support tender committees in their evaluation of equipment and services for procurement.
- Liaise and manage external contractors on service and tender commitment issues.
- Keep abreast of healthcare planning topics and issues, so as to lead the hospital development in the desired direction
- Attach to Group / Site team to familiarise with Group BME policies and procedures through supporting the daily operations to align with organisation and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Degree in the Biomedical / Electrical & Electronics with a minimum 5 years of experience in the healthcare institutions/sectors.
- 3 years of project management skills, knowledge on the medical equipment maintenance/servicing.
- Knowledge of medical standards/regulations and hospital layouts / facility planning.
- Strong communication (both written and oral) and presentation skill, and ability to work with various stakeholders
- Meticulous, organised, logical and analytical, and a team-player.
