Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate, plan and implement assigned projects.
- Estimate project capex budget and deliver the project not exceeding the forecast budget.
- Build and present project report out to leadership.
- Craft project plans with supporting analysis.
- Some projects will involve supporting team unction operating at remote location.
- Form relationships with business leaders and divisional teams to drive efficiency in the project approval and implementation phases.
Education
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering with pharmaceutical preferrence.
- Solid track record for running projects in a complex manufacturing environment.
Expectation
- You will have a high degree of autonomy to achieve project goals & objectives.
Experience
- Experience gained from leading projects across a global pharmaceutical/Biopharma organization is desirable.
- Experience of significant capital investment projects and product transfers are desirable
- Confirmed understanding of project management tools and methodology.
- Must be detail oriented as well as exhibit strong organizational skills.
- Ability to optimally interact with and collaborate across departments, business unit leadership, and Thermo Fisher divisions.
- Ability to build plans that align with partner expectations.
- Anticipates needs and problems while crafting solutions.
- Ability to influence others and partner cross functionally.
- Strong communication and social skills. Strong team building skills and the solid ability to work with a diverse group of people to develop credibility and forge solid and positive professional relationships with peers and management.
