IT and Facilities Support Executive
Job Description:
1. Provide IT desktop support and set-up for Classrooms and Staff PCs
2. Install, configure, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot computer desktops, firewall and server operating systems (Microsoft servers, Linux servers, VMWare, virtual machines etc), as and when needed.
3. Perform routine system administration duties (eg. Backup and storage functions) and security maintenance.
4. Properly perform and maintain accurate documentations for all IT processes, (eg. SOP, keep track of the assets)
5. Perform tasks related to facility maintenance and troubleshooting when required.
6. Facilitate Principal exams administration.
Qualifications:
1. 1-2 years of working experience in implementing and maintaining IT systems.
2. Fundamental knowledge and understanding in the following:
l virtualization
l operating system’s system administration
l open source
l backup and storage
l cloud computing
l facility management
3. Good written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences (external vendors and internal stakeholders)
4. Well-balanced team player who is willing to help-out team members as well as work cohesively between cross-functional teams.
