Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage purchasing, receiving, inventory, warehousing, distribution and operations as a whole
- Supervise and guide employees towards maximum performance
- Prepare and control the outlet’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
- Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
- Ensure that products are properly stored, organized and shipped in a timely fashion
- Monitor and analyse data to determine trends in demand for products so that inventory levels can be adjusted accordingly
- Manage the flow of inventory to ensure that sales are maximized and orders are fulfilled on time
- Monitor the expiry dates, stock movement, return of goods and maintain adequate inventories
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure meet schedules or shipping deadlines
- Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the outlet’s reputation
- Inspect the areas in the outlet and resolve any issues that might arise
- Plan and oversee in-store promotional events and display
- Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements
- Analyse sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
- Label goods, plot routes and process shipments and research ideal shipping techniques, routing and carriers
- Assist with deliveries whenever required and work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations
- Ensure all operations adhere to laws, rules and regulations and guidelines
- Any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the management
Requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain or relevant field
- Minimum 2 years experiences in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry
- Outstanding leadership, analytical, problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driving license is an added advantage
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Drive and resourcefulness to deliver results
- Able to multitask and handle a multitude of different responsibilities at one time
- Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically and identify and resolve problems
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice
