Key Responsibilities:
1. Head Baker
- Open the bakery early in the morning/afternoon
- Clean kitchen equipment and tools before use/after use
- Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough
- Bake different bread/cake types
- Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking
- Mix various ingredients to create fillings for cakes and pies
- Track food supplies and place orders, as needed
- Other Ah-hoc work whenever required
- Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeter
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Excellent time and people management skills
- Fulfil any other relevant job duties assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and/or equivalent
- Extensive experience in a senior management in the food and beverage industry
- Strong expertise in data-driven business management and technology implementation
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proven track record of leading innovation initiatives and achieving business results
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strategic leadership
- Demonstrated commitment to environmental and social principles
