Job Duties
• Assist with the development of performance evaluation dashboards, risk analysis and factor analysis for multi-asset portfolios via MSCI Barra and other analytical tools.
• Work closely with Quantitative team to implement cross-asset hedges, enhance TAA signal models and review SAA periodically.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of investment vehicles for investment in multi-asset portfolios and assist with the related operational and trading implications.
• Contribute to the development of tactical investment views and how to best implement these across various multi-asset portfolios. This includes the development and adjustment of “house” investment strategy, including with respect to a specific asset class (e.g., equities/fixed income/ currencies/commodities).
• Assist to manage discretionary private and institutional clients’ global multi-asset investment portfolios, including custom mandates.
- Assist with the management of a collection of multi-asset class mandates; however, most mandates are managed based on model portfolios with tactical asset allocation determined by the Investment Committee Asia.
• Eventually, co-manage other multi-asset portfolios, with a team of professionals.
- Analyse, research, recommend investments, either based on asset class, region, or sector/industry.
- Prepare written & verbal rationale and justification for trades.
- Present and market the investments strategies (mandate/fund).
• Participate as a member of the Investment Committee Asia and assist to prepare in-house communication in relation to relevant investments in multi-asset portfolios.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on portfolio performance, addressing inquiries, and delivering exceptional client experience.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including relationship managers (RMs), other PMs, investment advisors, compliance officers, leveraging collective expertise to deliver comprehensive investment solutions.
• Promote the Bank's culture and values during interaction with clients and staff.
