Job Description & Requirements
The Content Designer will be joining a large tech MNC to create and manage user-centered content across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to impact millions of users across APAC and have global interactions with designers, researchers and engineers. To excel in this role the content designer will have a strong background in UX writing, content strategy, and information architecture, with the ability to craft clear and engaging content that enhances the user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement content strategies that align with business goals and user needs.
- Write and design user-focused content for web, mobile, and other digital interfaces.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create seamless and intuitive user experiences.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform content decisions and validate content effectiveness.
- Create and maintain content guidelines, style guides, and voice and tone documentation.
- Develop wireframes, content prototypes, and user flows to visualize content structures.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in content design and UX writing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Content Designer, UX Writer, or similar role.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML/CSS.
- Ability to conduct and analyze user research and usability testing.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
