Responsibilities:
- Conduct geotechnical investigations and site evaluations to assess soil and rock conditions for construction projects.
- Develop and implement geotechnical exploration programs, including field work, laboratory analysis, and reporting.
- Perform settlement calculations.
- Prepare geotechnical reports and recommendations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and Workplace Safety & Health regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide technical guidance on geotechnical issues throughout the construction process.
- Conduct geotechnical inspections and assessments of project sites, offering practical solutions to challenges encountered.
- Review and interpret geotechnical data, and other related documentation.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to geotechnical specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address geotechnical concerns and ensure project success.
- Stay informed about industry advancements and best practices in geotechnical engineering, and share knowledge within the team members.
- Other related tasks as assisigned by Superior.
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering (Construction ) or a related field is preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, or actively working towards obtaining licensure.
- Min of 3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering and construction.
- Understanding of geotechnical exploration techniques and foundation design principles.
- Proficiency in conducting stability analyses, settlement calculations, and geotechnical inspections.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement geotechnical exploration programs, including field work analysis.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address geotechnical challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budgets.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and actively contribute to the success of projects.
- Previous experience working with construction companies ( R & R) or consulting agencies is highly desirable.
