Job Overview

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a crucial role in driving new business opportunities

and helping us achieve our sales targets. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential leads,

engaging with prospects, and setting up meetings for our sales team. Your efforts will directly impact our sales

pipeline and help us expand our customer base.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead Generation: Identify and research potential leads through various channels, including online

research, social media, and networking events.

• Prospect Outreach: Reach out to prospective clients via phone, email, and social media to introduce

our products/services and qualify their interest.

• Lead Qualification: Assess the needs and pain points of prospects to determine if they are a good fit

for our solutions.

• Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings or product demonstrations for the Sales team with qualified

leads.

• Follow-Up: Maintain regular contact with leads to nurture relationships and move them through the

sales funnel.

• CRM Management: Accurately record and update lead information in our CRM system to ensure data

integrity and track progress.

• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to

identify opportunities and challenges.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align strategies

and share insights.


Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent

experience).

• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a sales, customer service, or related role. Prior experience in a

sales development or lead generation position is a plus.

• Skills:

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

o Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with potential clients.

o Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.

o Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.

o Strong organizational and time-management skills.

o Self-motivated with a drive to succeed and achieve targets.


Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with sales or lead generation software and tools.

• Understanding of the sales process and techniques for effective prospecting.

• Tech startup experience is a bonus
