BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Overview:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and developing strategies to increase sales and market presence. This role requires a proactive, motivated individual with a passion for the food and beverage industry, particularly bakery products.

Job Description:

1. Market Research and Analysis市场研究与分析:

· Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand market trends. 进行市场研究以识别新的商业机会并了解市场趋势。

· Analyze competitors, customer preferences, and industry developments to inform business strategies. 分析竞争对手、客户偏好和行业发展情况,以制定业务策略。

2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management客户获取与关系管理:

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate revenue. 识别并追求新的商业机会以产生收入。

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. 建立和维护与现有和潜在客户的强大关系。

· Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’objectives. 促进公司的产品/服务解决或预测客户的目标。

· Respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and vendors, developing sales in territories that haven't bought the company’s type of product line before. 对征求建议书和供应商作出回应,在以前没有购买过公司产品线类型的地区开展销售。

· Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets. 谈判合同并达成交易以满足销售目标。

3. Sales and Marketing Strategy销售和营销策略:

· Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase market share and revenue. 制定并实施销售和营销策略,以增加市场份额和收入。

· Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction. 制定既注重财务收益又注重客户满意度的增长战略。

· Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices. 发展和实施总体对外销售和业务发展战略、销售流程、结构和最佳实践。

· Work closely with company admin executives and sales & marketing professionals to review current market trends in order to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins. 与公司行政主管和销售及营销专家密切合作,审查当前市场趋势,提出可提高收入利润率的新商业理念。

· Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking events to promote the bakery. 参加行业活动、贸易展览和社交活动,推广面包店。

4. Product Development产品开发 :

· Work closely with the bakery team to develop new products that meet market demands. 与烘焙团队紧密合作,开发满足市场需求的新产品。

· Provide feedback from clients and market research to guide product innovation. 提供来自客户和市场研究的反馈,以指导产品创新。

5. Financial Management财务管理:

· Prepare and manage budgets for business development activities为业务拓展活动准备和管理预算.

· Track sales performance and report on progress towards goals跟踪销售表现并报告目标进展情况.

· Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability识别节省成本的机会并提高盈利能力.

· Support deal structure and pricing with business-value analysis, and negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals支持交易结构和定价的商业价值分析,并为主动出价和提案协商价格 .

6. Team Collaboration团队合作:

· Collaborate with the bakery operations, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment of business objectives. 与面包店运营、市场和财务团队合作,确保业务目标一致。

· Provide training and support to sales staff as needed. 根据需要为销售人员提供培训和支持。

7. Compliance and Quality Assurance合规和质量保证:

· Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines. 准备销售合同,确保遵守法律规定的规则和准则。

· Monitor customer feedback and address any issues related to product quality or service. 监控客户反馈并解决与产品质量或服务相关的问题。


Job Requirement:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 商业管理、市场营销或相关领域的学士学位。

· 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the food and beverage industry. 3-5年业务拓展、销售或市场营销经验,最好在食品和饮料行业。

· Strong understanding of the bakery market and consumer trends. 对烘焙市场和消费者趋势有深刻了解。

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 优秀的沟通、谈判和人际交往能力。

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 能够独立工作,也能作为团队的一员。

· Proficient in Microsoft Office. 精通Microsoft Office。

· Strong organizational and time management skills. 强大的组织和时间管理能力。

· Experience in product development and innovation in the bakery industry. 在烘焙行业有产品开发和创新经验。

· Established network within the food and beverage sector. 在食品和饮料行业有建立的网络。

· Knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce strategies. 了解数字营销和电子商务策略。

· May require occasional evening or weekend work to attend events or meet deadlines.

· 可能需要偶尔在晚上或周末工作参加活动或完成截止日期。

· Ability to travel as needed. 根据需要能够出差。
