The Quality control supervisor is responsible to oversee the quality assurance process and ensuring our products meet the established standards of quality, reliability, and performance before they reach our customers. The QC Supervisor will play a critical role in managing the quality control operations across our 3PL facilities and coordinating with HQ for validation and approval processes.
Main Responsabilities:-
- Supervise and guide a team of quality control inspectors to ensure efficient operations and timely execution of quality checks.
- Train and mentor quality control staff of third-party logistics provider (3PL) on quality standards, inspection techniques, and company compliance requirements.
- Conduct random inspections and audits of 3PL processes to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
- Provide support on the creation of all Operations instruction (Assembly, Rework, Work, Filling…).
- Liaise with 3PL to retrieve and conduct inspection on assembled sets before sending to HQ for validation.
- Abide to the communication channel and ensure accurate and timely validation of Assembly/ Rework/ Operations instruction for all brands in Singapore Distribution Center (SDC).
- Provide validated QC elements to 3PL before commencement of the Operations activities and ensure they are implemented effectively to maintain product quality.
- Collaborate with HQ to resolve issues pertaining to blocking component that affect production and quality.
- Liaise with 3PL and Finance team to create and process internal orders for sample retrieval.
- Setup quality inspection plans in SAP for new items and review existing plans for skip control to optimize quality assurance process.
- Conduct 1st piece QC inspection. Release quality management lots in SAP. Manage partial and urgent release requests as per production needs.
- Coordinate with 3PL and internal department to conduct transportation tests. Consolidate test results into comprehensive summary file.
- Compile & communicate the quality performance/ dash boards to relevant parties and to initiate actions plan for deficiency detected.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Customer Service/ Supply Planning, 3PL, to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical skills:
- Familiar with product requirement, test methods and specification
- Familiar with processing tools (SAP, MS office)
- Familiar with QC measuring tools (hand-held measurement devices and electronic inspection equipment)
- Minimum GCE “O” Level or equivalent for Singaporean & “SPM” for Malaysian workers
- Preferably with 5 years of experience in a similar position/ environment.
