- Responsible for the efficient installation of various company products i.e. Pipe Markers, Signage, Valve Tags, etc. at client facilities in a safe and professional manner
- Installation of products at correct locations in accordance with the procedures implemented and enforced by the Installation Supervisor / Installation manager
- Conducting or organizing on-site surveys on request by the Engineering Supervisor for verification of client-provided drawings and coming up with an estimated quantity
- Perform in-house engineering on client provided drawings and come up with the estimated quantity
- Coordinates the tracking and provision of project documentation, P&IDs, Isometrics, Specifications and Standards, and other related documents which may be necessary for efficient product installation
- Monitors and reports project schedule and progress
- Responsible for performing quality checks on the project's progress and proper execution of labeling projects.
- Ensures client satisfaction via consistent communication and progress updates
- Know, understand and comply with the safety rules and regulations implemented by the Company, Client, and worksite location.
- Assists in the undertaking activities to ensure the effective implementation and continual improvement of the HSE & Quality Management System
- Assists in training and mentoring of subcontractors (when required) on task-specific activities as assigned.
- Performs other tasks necessary for the proper management of the Installation Department in relation to the smooth implementation of company rules and policy, particularly on Safety and Quality, to attain the highest level of customer satisfaction
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and/or related experience.
- At least 2 years experience in construction, shipyard, Marine, and the Oil and Gas industry is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office products, advanced in Excel
- Advanced understanding of facility drawings including equipment layouts, plot plans, and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities.
- Experience working with lifts, snips, and banders is a plus
- Exhibits above-average organizational skills, and multitasking skills and have the ability to recognize and deal appropriately with priorities
- Physically fit with the ability to work outdoors, on board a vessel, and/or at considerable heights
- Must be fully vaccinated
