Job Responsibilities:
- Conversion of existing legacy UI from JSP to React.
- Develop UI in a well thought out manner to ensure scalability and reusability of the program.
- Integrate the API built to the React UI.
- Ensure the look and feel of the UI to be consistent throughout the entire application.
- Carry out local unit testing to ensure quality of code.
- Work with BA and Java Developer to support defect fixes.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a React Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
