DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make pizzas based on custom requests from our menu.
- Proficiently prepare and bake pizza dough.
- Monitor food stock, maintain supplies and place orders when required.
- Suggest recipes to renew our menu and draw in more clients.
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
- Preparing specific food items and meal components at your station.
- Collaborate with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service.
- Cleaning the kitchen and equipment before and after food service.
- Keeping your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary.
- Stocktaking and ordering supplies for your station.
- Coordinate and cooperate with the other kitchen staff to complete tasks.
- Apply safety standards with compliance on health, safety and hygiene guidelines and regulations.
- Keep a check on the safety equipment for use.
- Report any mishaps in the kitchen
- Perform general housekeeping duties.
- Improve food preparation methods based on feedback.
- Assist head chef in areas of the kitchen as required
Requirements
- 2 years work experience as a Pizza Chef.
- Good understanding of food safety practices and hygiene.
- Excellent team spirit with a customer-focused attitude.
