Job Description:
- Assist in managing and leading the daily operations of the Reservations Department and support the Reservations team in achieving departmental objectives
- Maintains a very good reputation for the Hotel and assists in increasing the overall profitability of the Hotel
- Responsible for the daily organization of sections
- To conduct daily briefings
- To ensure Revenue strategies implemented are followed through.
- Responsible for ensuring the team complies with ResaVision standards.
- Ensures all reports are completed on time
- Provides guests with the most accurate and up-to-date information at all times.
- To ensure all pre-check-in procedures are followed through
- To know how to contact all types of guests (individuals, agencies, companies)
- Contributes to overall operational efficiency by performing relevant duties as assigned
- To know and use the margins for negotiating prices
- Manage the upsell program for the reservations and front desk department
- Strive to implement the Accor Vision and demonstrate active use of the Accor Values
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management
- Minimum 2 years experience in hotel Reservations
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Windows applications and Opera PMS is an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
