Reservation Supervisor

Ibis Singapore On Bencoolen

Job Description:

  • Assist in managing and leading the daily operations of the Reservations Department and support the Reservations team in achieving departmental objectives
  • Maintains a very good reputation for the Hotel and assists in increasing the overall profitability of the Hotel
  • Responsible for the daily organization of sections
  • To conduct daily briefings
  • To ensure Revenue strategies implemented are followed through.
  • Responsible for ensuring the team complies with ResaVision standards.
  • Ensures all reports are completed on time
  • Provides guests with the most accurate and up-to-date information at all times.
  • To ensure all pre-check-in procedures are followed through
  • To know how to contact all types of guests (individuals, agencies, companies)
  • Contributes to overall operational efficiency by performing relevant duties as assigned
  • To know and use the margins for negotiating prices
  • Manage the upsell program for the reservations and front desk department
  • Strive to implement the Accor Vision and demonstrate active use of the Accor Values

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management
  • Minimum 2 years experience in hotel Reservations
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Windows applications and Opera PMS is an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
