Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Corporate Services (Finance)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Finance Function

  • Lead the process to review, implement and improve financial workflows/processes to strengthen internal control and compliance and enhance operational efficiencies
  • Manage full sets of accounts, such as account receivables, account payables, general ledger, etc., and work with the senior executive to manage daily bookkeeping and finance-related activities.
  • Responsible for month-end and year-end closing.
  • Handle full monthly payroll cycle, including end-month payroll and CPF submission.
  • Manage monthly bank reconciliation statements.
  • Prepare audit schedule and attend to the queries raised by external auditors.
  • Review tax computations and liaise with tax agents to manage the tax filing process
  • Liaise with external accountants, company secretary, tax authorities, law firms, and banks when necessary
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting.
  • Provide periodical financial reporting/analysis packages to management and stakeholders and attend to ad-hoc queries/requests

Corporate Services Function

  • Provide support to corporate services functions (Operations, HR, Admin) as and when needed
  • Participate in Corporate Services or organizational-wide projects & initiatives
  • Handle any other ad-hoc duties/tasks assigned by the supervisor.


Requirements:

  • Diploma/bachelor’s degree in accountancy or higher accounting ACCA.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Forms, PowerPoint, Teams, Word)
  • Resourceful and able to work independently
  • Possess good analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multi-task
  • Possess strong work ethics, good initiatives, and a process-improvement mindset
  • Hands-on and self-motivated team-player
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, perform the core job duties accurately and prioritise and deliver within tight deadlines
  • Interest in being part of a social service organisation and contribute to serving the community
  • Able to start work on short notice or immediately, preferred
  • Prior experience using QuickBooks and working with outsourced service providers - Advantages
  • Knowledge of Charities Accounting Standard (CAS) - Advantages
