Job Responsibilities:
Training and Development:
- Attend comprehensive product and application training at the Singapore Head Office for approximately 3 to 6 months. Training is fully compensated.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of products and applications through classes, seminars, and hands-on experience.
Customer Engagement and Technical Support:
- Offer technical consultation and services to customers, helping them solve their application challenges using Keyence’s products across various industries.
- Recommend and promote appropriate company products/services to meet customer needs.
- Exhibit flexibility in meeting Keyence Singapore’s expectations and addressing customer challenges.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to customer inquiries and requests.
- Consistently and efficiently secure new customers.
Sales and Strategy Implementation:
- Travel to customer locations three days a week to successfully sell products/services across a range of manufacturing and related industries.
- Contribute to account strategy and participate in the development of the territory's strategic plan.
- Execute new product-launch strategies effectively.
- Achieve growth in market share within the assigned sales territory.
Event Coordination and Administrative Duties:
- Organize and coordinate off-site seminars and trade shows as needed.
- Manage day-to-day activities with minimal supervision.
- Adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Preferably hold a degree in an engineering field; candidates with a business-related degree will also be considered.
- Strong interest and aptitude for mastering highly technical products.
- Keen interest in working within manufacturing environments.
- Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to listen attentively and respond proactively to customer questions and requests.
- Goal-oriented and extremely hard-working with a desire to make a measurable contribution.
- Motivation to improve through intensive training, mentorship, engaged management, and a proactive, process-oriented sales approach.
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures, including professional dress code, punctuality, attendance, and sales process policies.
- Willingness to travel 60% of the time, including potential overnight travel.
- Valid Class 3 License is preferred.
