- Manage and lead a team of QS on Tendering matters as follows:
- Attend Tender Showround / Tender Briefing with client and Consultant.
- Reviews tender documents/requests for proposals to understand project details and requirements;
- Responsible for detailed and accurate measuring quantity and taking off
- Sourcing materials and send quotation inquiries to the vendors and subcontractors, comparison of quotes, review of prices, to ensure comply to tender requirement
- Liaise and carry out evaluation and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
- Study and identify discrepancies in tender/contract documents and to highlight the discrepancies for tender clarifications
- Compiling all documents required for submission
- To perform price comparison and quotation evaluation
- Attend Tender interview with client and Consultant.
- Any other assignments given occasionally or on a daily basis by the immediate Superior
- Provides leadership to team members, and effectively resolves any issues that arise
