Job Summary

• This role works within the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Coverage Change & Transformation team’s Product Enablement (PE) Hive to enable user adoption of changes delivered in the Credit domain to optimise Client experience, transform internal platforms and processes and adhere to regulatory obligations

• Lead a team of Change Managers to effectively embed user-facing platform, process and data changes for a global user network in CIB

• Support Head of Change Management in running a Centre of Excellence, including coaching, demand/resource management and developing central guidance and templates

Key Responsibilities

· Lead a team of change management specialists to ensure successful user adoption of initiatives delivered by the Product Enablement Hive, ranging from large-scale transformation to iterative “business as usual” deliveries

· Own and drive quality Change Management outcomes from the team to enable user adoption, including:

· Identification and engagement of key stakeholders across geographies, business areas

· Communications and engagement planning and delivery, utilising best available channels/media to drive awareness and mobilization in impacted user groups

· Change Impact Assessments to articulate target state change impacts and plans for adequately preparing business teams for the change

· Training delivery end-to-end - planning, needs assessment, content development, delivery and reporting for the impacted user population

· Leveraging digital adoption platforms such as WalkMe, ChatBots, etc. to reinforce the above

· Support Product Owners in driving Business Readiness outcomes – including User Acceptance Testing facilitation, acting on post-live user support trends, etc.

· Ensuring effective Change Management delivery by utilising structured plans and approaches, tailoring Change Management framework to the scale and context of the change.

· Provide a mix of team oversight to ensure quality outputs are delivered to plan while remaining hands-on with individual contribution where required.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

· Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.

· Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

· Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Key stakeholders

· CIB business stakeholders, including Frontline (Relationship Managers, Credit Analysts), Client Management, Global Process Owners, Operational Risk, Risk Framework Owners, etc.

· CIB COO and Technology Stakeholders, including Product Owners, Product Managers, Platform Managers, Delivery Leads, etc.

Role Specific Technical Competencies

• Has delivered large scale, complex Change Management / business change implementations in similar business domains (Credit Origination and Monitoring within CIB / Wholesale banking)
• Has used structured, pragmatic and effective change management approaches in large scale delivery to bring the target state “to life” for users on the ground
• Good working knowledge of Corporate and Institutional Banking - especially for Credit processes, related products and regulations - is highly preferable

Our Ideal Candidate

• 10+ years experience as a Change Lead, Change Manager or Project / Programme Manager delivering user adoption-centric business change outcomes in Banking / Financial Services

• Excellent written, communication and presentation skills; able to effectively engage, influence and manage senior business stakeholders
• Eye for detail and excellent problem solving and analytical skills, able to bring clarity and structure to areas of ambiguity
• Ability to define and run a structured delivery plan with a global team to drive fit-for-purpose outcomes
• Strong individual contributor with proactive working style; able to take initiative, identify opportunities and work with minimal management oversight
• Ability to effectively communicate business priorities, complex concepts and models and business information to a technical and non-technical audience at analyst and senior management level
• Demonstrates creative thinking by generating new ideas and concepts and identifying new ways of doing things.
• Strong problem-solving skills to perform root cause analysis
• Ability to quickly absorb and learn new systems, methodologies, information
• Ability to facilitate workshops, discussions and meetings with stakeholders at all levels

The following qualifications are advantageous:

· Change Management certification (PROSCI or equivalent)

· Project Management certification (PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent)
