Ascendo Academy is searching for a talented and meticulous Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health of our Academy by managing our financial records, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
Job Description:
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial records are accurate
- Prepare financial reports, including general ledgers, balance sheets, and income statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting to ensure financial stability
- Maintain open communication with management team regarding financial matters
- Stay up-to-date on Singapore accounting regulations FRS and best practices
Minimum Entry Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience with preparing full set of accounts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero and Business Central)
