Key Responsibilities of the Job:
- Warm outreach to existing SJP contacts to generate appointments and opportunities for the Partnership
- Providing regular prospecting reports to the Marketing and Field Management Teams
- Achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly set KPIs
- Supporting Partners in other ad hoc business development and networking opportunities in terms of both administrative tasks and attending networking events
- Keeping up to date with the latest financial services landscape, to better support our clients and Partners
- Proactively enhancing SJP and industry knowledge through internal employee workshops
- Creating positive brand awareness and being a brand advocate for our business at all times
- Working alongside Marketing and Field Management Teams to generate lists of Prospects via digital marketing campaigns and people networking
- Recording leads appropriately within SalesForce to track interactions with Prospects
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with Clients and Prospects, ensuring Partners are well supported and both Clients and Prospects are satisfied
- Arranging first meetings on behalf of Partners and coordinating new leads into their diaries
- Communicating business updates with Clients and Prospects
- Evaluating and prioritising lead generation and business opportunities with the Partners
Requirements of the Job:
Knowledge & Skills:
- Good financial & investment knowledge, with qualifications issued by CISI, CII or other relevant professional body (desired)
- Previous experience working in a sales/marketing environment (outbound/ Inside Sales/Email Marketing/Telemarketing etc. role) preferably within financial services (desired)
- Degree educated in Finance, Economics, Business or related field disciplines (desired)
- Interest in financial products & markets
- Good interpersonal skills including tact and discretion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail
- Good time management skills with the ability to identify and deploy strategies to deal with conflicting or changing deadlines and priorities
- Ability to network and prospect
