We are seeking a driven Sales Manager to drive sales growth for our client's mechanical pipe joining systems, specifically couplings. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales, a deep understanding of the industry, and strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Job Description
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets for mechanical pipe joining systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and end-users in the oil and gas, industrial, and commercial HVAC sectors.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration.
- Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales plans.
- Manage and develop a sales team (if applicable).
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the oil and gas, industrial valves, piping, or commercial HVAC industries.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
- Strong understanding of the mechanical pipe joining systems market.
- Experience in distributor management (preferred).
