Overview:
Our client is looking for a Project Engineer to handle technical and non-technical issues, ensure project compliance, and coordinate site activities. Responsibilities include resolving issues, monitoring progress, planning site work, minimising waste, and managing the workforce.
Project Management:
- Address and resolve all technical and non-technical issues.
- Ensure the tracking and monitoring of items according to contractual requirements.
- Oversee the submission and monitoring of technical drawings, method statements, and proposals.
- Conduct short-term planning to align with site progress.
- Minimise material wastages on site and maximise the usage of machinery and equipment.
- Effectively manage the allocated direct workforce, including the number of workers and overtime.
- Achieve targeted progress of works to meet intended cash flow goals.
Technical Understanding:
- Comprehend the implications of different technical choices to meet project objectives.
- Provide value engineering solutions based on knowledge and experience.
- Possess knowledge in the preparation of engineering project proposals and method statements.
Job Requirements:
- Must possess at least a Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent (recognised by PEB).
- Experience in leading a team or managing subcontractors is advantageous.
- Familiarity with PUB(WRN) projects and more than 5 years of experience in a related field is advantageous.
- An experienced site supervisor who has work for HDB A&A carpark projects.
- Candidates with comparable qualifications will be considered for the Project Manager post.
