Job Purpose/Role
As a Product Owner, you will take full responsibility over regional business applications in the Policy Management
and Claims & Collections scope. You will also be in charge of leading Operations and Transformation projects.
On the business applications side, you will be in charge of driving the deployment of new capabilities, managing
incidents and providing support to end users.
On the projects side, you will be part of a larger team involved in rolling out the global Operations transformation
initiatives for the APAC region. You will also be in charge of regional projects in the organization or digital fields.
Key Responsibilities
1. Demand management:
- Identifies, collects, clarifies and challenge the Business Needs from the Super Users for dedicated local product(s) /
application(s)
- Ensures consistency of business needs for the Region and their harmonization (across regional BUs and with
Group target)
- Supports G-PO to communicate on product vision /roadmap in region
- Coordinates Super Users and acts as first level of escalations for regional/local Business stakeholders
- Responsible for authorization management
2. Incident management
- Analyzed the production incidents
- Coordinates prioritization with the regional/local business
- Coordinates communication to regional/local Business and group
- Coordinates the functional validation and testing of defect deliveries with the Super Users
3. Testing
- Defines testing strategy and test plans with Business/Roll Out Manager/Super User
- Supports user acceptance tests and NRT
4. Change management & Training
- Identifies and manages key changes in process and/or applications
- Implements the change management actions needed related to changes in functionalities, applications or
processes (DOM) together with Business
- Ensures consistent product communication to all regional stakeholders (changes, Rollouts, releases, etc.) and
implementation of change activities
- Identifies trainings needs and ensures regional/local training delivery for both Super Users and End Users
5. Project management
- Takes full responsibility over a scope of functional projects: scoping, business case design, implementation plans
definition, project stakeholders coordination, monitoring of budget, timeline and risks, deployment, post project
follow up
- Ensures proper communication and escalation and provides visibility over the projects progress during Steering
Committees
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
- Work experience in a scaled Agile environment
- Has a good understanding of business processes associated to the relevant system
- Good technical understanding/ IT background
- Business & Information analysis tools and techniques
- Ability to understand dependencies / business impacts and challenge the different parties (and negotiate with) to
determine the right priorities
- JIRA, X-Ray and Confluence experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to foster relationships
- Has good analytical skills and a structured mindset
- Capacity to work independently and take ownership (Capacity to take decision)
- Ability to provide trainings and drive a large team of Super Users, multi located, and with limited direct authority
- Good experience in delivering medium to large scale projects
- Fluent in English verbal and written
