Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Marketing and Student Recruitment Manager to join our team and lead efforts across China, Japan, and Hong Kong. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to attract prospective students and promote our institution effectively in the region. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the educational landscape in Asia, coupled with strong marketing acumen and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans tailored to each country within the region (China, Japan, Hong Kong) to increase brand awareness and student enrollment.
- Manage and coordinate marketing campaigns, events, and initiatives to engage prospective students, parents, and educational agents.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with admissions goals and institutional objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive positioning, and opportunities for growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including educational institutions, agents, government bodies, and media contacts.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimization.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance marketing strategies and student recruitment efforts.
- Handle and manage student's services and updating of parents with student's progress.
- Has had experience in University study pathway planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience (8+ years) in marketing and student recruitment within the education sector, with a focus on the China, Japan, and Hong Kong markets.
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances and educational preferences in Asia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Proficiency in English and [Chinese/Japanese/Cantonese] languages (spoken and written) is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
- Be familiar with domestic education system in China, Japan and Hong Kong.

Reports to Senior Management.
