Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all technical aspects of marine operations, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of vessels.
- Ensure all vessels comply with international maritime regulations, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and manage budgets for technical operations, including procurement of spare parts and equipment.
- Lead and manage a team of technical staff, including engineers, technicians, and maintenance crews.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for technical services and supplies.
- Identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing operational performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience (typically 3-5 years) in marine technical management or a similar role within the marine industry.
- Deep understanding of marine engineering principles, ship systems, and equipment.
- Familiarity with international maritime regulations and industry standards.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and motivating teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications for technical management and reporting.
