We are seeking a passionate and versatile Customer Service cum Administrative Assistant to join our team and contribute to our mission.


Position Summary:

Diabetes Singapore is looking for a dedicated and versatile individual to serve as a Customer Service cum Administrative Assistant. This role is crucial to our operations, providing first-rate customer support and efficient administrative assistance. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate communicator, highly organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:

o Respond to inquiries and provide detailed information about diabetes and related services to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.

o Schedule appointments and manage client records with accuracy.

o Offer support and guidance to individuals and families managing diabetes.

o Coordinate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure integrated care and services.

  • ·Administrative Duties:

o Handle data entry and maintain precise client records.

o Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations concerning diabetes care and support.

o Manage office supplies and upkeep of necessary equipment.

o Support the organisation in event planning and execution, including workshops, seminars, and fundraising activities.


· Sales of Consumables:

o Manage the inventory and sales of diabetes-related consumables, ensuring availability and accessibility for clients.

o Provide accurate information and advice on the selection and use of these products.

  • Outreach and Education:

o Engage in community outreach programs to promote diabetes awareness.

o Help in the creation and distribution of educational materials related to diabetes.

  • Team Collaboration:

o Work collaboratively with team members to enhance service delivery.

o Participate in team meetings and support continuous improvement efforts.

  • Additional Tasks:

o Handle various tasks as assigned by the Executive Director, adapting to the needs of the organisation.


The ideal candidate should possess the following:

· Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience in customer service, administration, and retail or sales management.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database management.

· Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.

· Being empathetic and patient-centred approach at work.

· Interest in or knowledge of diabetes and healthcare is beneficial.


Work Conditions:

· Full-time position, Monday to Saturday.

· Primarily office-based with occasional participation in community outreach activities.
