About the role
This position requires a proactive customer driven approach, demonstrating full ownership and responsibility for producing an overall Energy Storage Solution project, helping to implement and complete projects with the required levels of customer satisfaction. The role involves managing, planning, monitoring, and resourcing multiple projects and is proactive in bringing new opportunity for improvement within the team.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create, design, and implement project management processes, templates and frameworks to standardize project execution and reporting.
- Lead, monitor, and control the performance of the customer’s project life cycle while ensuring proper and timely documentation for traceability.
- Initiate the project, plan the project, execute and control the project, and close the project.
- Key activities include task completion verification, project team monitoring, managing the exchange of project updates across the project team members, schedule reporting, issue resolution, scope change, variation claim, and contract administration.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering project excellence to our end-user base and throughout the contractual chain.
- Validate the project, including technical and commercial elements.
- Monitor the execution of the customer’s project to make sure the SOW is done on time and within budget.
- Lead the closeout of the customer’s project to include financial reconciliation, verification of job site equipment arrival, installation, start-up, documentation, and training support completion.
- Solve problems with customers that result in positive feedback and enhanced relationships. Project business growth and profitability.
- Ensure the project team operates at the highest standards of Health and Safety.
- Identify the risks, issues, and manage the associated corrective action plans.
- Organize, lead, and motivate the project team and synchronize his team with the other teams.
- Help to manage resource planning and efficiency to maximize utilization.
- Ensure efficiency and best practices are embedded in project delivery process and culture to raise competitiveness and profitability of the business.
- Ensure compliance with our work and quality process and drive continuous improvements.
- Support in bidding stage to evaluate project risk and opportunity for preparation of risk/opp registry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve backend systems and processes for optimal performance and scalability.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in energy storage, electrical plants, or similar fields.
- Project management-related certifications are preferred.
- Experience in managing the entire project lifecycle is advantageous.
- Ability to lead the decision-making process at the project level and at the right time.
- Strong influencing and convincing skills.
- Advanced understanding of jobsite safety procedures, best practices, and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to grasp detailed information and understand its impact on the customer journey.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to multi-task, stay organized, and meet tight deadlines.
